Hey, Shavethebadger, that's an innovative brush you've got there!Quote:

I can see how the handle would be really easy to grip while wet, thanks to the protrusions, and the lace could help to filter larger bubbles in your lather...
What kind of badger hair is that, though? Pure-ple? PRP badger? (Punk Rock Purple)?
What's the cost for one of these in 27mm?
That's a custom my little pony that my niece made my wife and I for our wedding. She had lukemia and made it in the hospital. She died before our wedding but I do like to keep the picture posted in my file. It brings back memories of her. I'm sure I could get you one if you wanted, but wouldn't the lace clash with your satin panties?
Matt
I can't locate you on ebay, but that's some excellent work. How much do the brushes go for? Can you post an eBay link?Quote:

On a more serious note, I like the pearl inlay work. A friend of mine does custom pearl inlay for guitars, and it's beautiful work, if really exacting. Hadn't thought of it for brushes.
You "gents" are on the wrong forum for that.Quote:

I'll see if I can link my ebay store. I don't have any brushes up for auction, but I do have a number of them for sale in my ebay store. I should finish up a few of the dozen I've got in various stages of production, but I'm a bit slower these days.

I think the link should work. There is no set pricing list for custom brushes, though comparing to the brushes for sale would give you a basic idea of cost. I've got bristle in Super Silvertip, Silvertip, Best, and Pure Black &Pure Grey. I have knots in 18mm, 20mm, 22mm, and 24mm in most grades. I have 26mm knots in best and silvertip. I have 30mm knots in Super Silvertip and Silvertip.
If you've got an idea of the type of wood you would like, or any other ideas, send me a pm or a message through the site outlining wood/material choice, brush grade and size, inlay choice (if any) and I can get back to you with a fairly realistic quote. Also, if there is any wood or material you would like but cannot find listed, pm me. I've gathered quite a stock and haven't updated the site recently. We also have a limited amount of Asian Water Buffalo Horn available.

Here is a pic of the brush that Matt made for me works great and I like the style, no wonder that this style is so popular the round portion of the bulb fits my hand perfectly when I whipping up the lather.

That sure is a beaut, Ray. Is it bottom heavy when you hang it? I mean, does it want to tip over if it isn't perfectly balanced in the stand?

The brush is very well balanced I can balance the brush on one finger at the neck.
