An antique shop has this for sale should I even try to restore it. It has a good amount of pitting and even some rust on the blade. It is either 30 or 35 dollars.

In my opinion... the edge looks like it has too much rust, you're going to be honing for a loong time before you get to a clean edge, I don't' think it's worth it.
that's my opinion though, get a couple before you make your decision
A bit more info???
Brand ????
Depending on that, this looks like a $10 razor all day long....
and that is assuming the scales are usable on something else...
That rust looks deep in the pic and the blade looks thin...
Keep in mind I do NOT allow rust, or patina on my face only clean bright steel... So I am a bit picky, I don't mind pitting but it has to be polished out, not still black...
I would pass on that one at that price from the pic...
If it were in my hand I might say different... :)
That is a Double duck. I actually sent you a picture of another one on your website a couple days ago, this is another one she has, I was thinking of buying a couple. The handle looks good but, I think the price is a little high. She said she could give me a discount of some sort if I buy more than one so I may ask. here is a pic with the handle it looks good.

I could probably have this one done by someone if you guys think it would be worth the restore and resale, but I may pick up a Sheffield she has instead.
Thanks

That patterned rust doesn't look healthy Jared, can you scrape at it with your finger nail and get an idea of the damage under there?????
Dubl Ducks have great potential, but I still wouldn't pay $30 for it.
A bit of difference between those two razors too...
This first one you sent pics of is a good buy

That second one is a bit rougher... I really don't like the looks of the pattern in the rust on the second one she has...
I believe I will stay away as well, I just wanted to check in here and make sure I wasn't being over cautious.
Thanks
