So... well as I said I would be posting more images of my restores up I think I'm taking a break after the latest one

I was sanding it with a dremel because I got lazy and rolled it over the edge.... and SNAP... I only had safety glasses on... and let me tell you... it sucked, I searched all over for the bits and pieces of the steel and I can't find it anywhere but at least they did not fly off into me....

Remove about 1/2 inch off the tip, and round what is left, rehone and you will have a shorty to experiment with under your neck. I find a short blade is pretty handy. And, even though I don't use one regularly, it was worthwhile knowing what the length of the blade contributes to shave action.

Larry, I hate to say it but if you look really close I already did :(..... I used a cut off wheel.... and it shattered again.. this time I was wearing more protection.... but yea... I dont want to die... But I would Love a shorty blade... I always wondered why we dont find them in vintage stock.. I would think women would have loved them for their armpits at least...or maybe they did not shave them ...ughhhh frenchies..... :)Quote:
