Best course of action

Hello all,

I have a quick question. I recently aquired a razor from suprisingly enough a real gentleman on the bay. Alas upon arrival I noticed a crack. See pictures. Is it best to work out a deal and try to "fix the razor somehow, or flat out better to just return it. Im figuring its the second. but open to ideas.

I wouldn't bother and send it back. That's at least 1/8", you'll probbaly end up in the stabilizer if removing that much, loose the original grind and it's pretty far from the toe so shortening the blade is not really an option either (but doable if really needed) and you'll be shortening right into the Puma towards the spine.

+1 in relation to the blade that crack is huge!!

WOuld have been a great blade, but returning it for a refund is the best advice as mentioned above...

What a shame, but as Max said, its a goner in my book. Just think if that thing flexed enough to bite you.
