Hello everyone. I inherrited my great grandfather's shaving brush. I love the look and the size of the handle. There is one problem though the head is shot. If I look at it it looses 20-30 hairs and it's now fallen off completle. Does anyone know where I should buy a new knot to replace it and how I shoud fix it in place? Thanks for your help.

Hi there!
Many have reported that nice knots can be had from the Golden Nib. The winning method seems to be to glue the new knot in with epoxy.

I did pretty much exactly what str8fencer mentioned with marine expoy from Wal-Mart (figured if it was for wet applications it would work well for a brush) and a knot from the Golden Nib. It turned out pretty well and serves me well almost a year later.
