If its a gold wash or any of those easy wipe off washes, nothing can be really done as to polish around it and leave the wash alone. It will first fade followed by mostly totally disappearing if you start using any polishing projects. If it's an engraving you can easily buff the blade on the buffer or even use a progression of high grit sandpaper. Always check to see how deep the engraving goes first.
That's what I was afraid of. The razor is a Boker king cutter with a gold wash. How was that design applied originally?
The Boker King Cutter :)
If you look at it wrong it comes off :(
I'll be sure to not make eye contact. :)
Put electrical tape over the gold wash and polish. This will protect it and help prevent unnecessary/unwanted eye contact.
Good suggestion. Anyone know how that embellishment was applied to the razor originally?
