shed a little tear

well, i got a package today and knowing what was inside i couldn't wait to get inside and open it up. so i open the packages and out pops a wade and butcher 6/8 razor with a normal black handle. so i take out the dremel and pop out the pins, remove the scales and there in front of me is a vision of a future beauty.

so over i go to my work area, pull out the sand paper and smile. i start working the blade to see how bade the gunk actually is thats covering the mirror underneath. and the crap on top starts coming off pretty easily. so i continue and things are working great............................................. ......

i push too hard and Crack the bottom corner of the blade. then i proceed to stand up, curse a tad, throw something across the room and shed a tear.

i will miss you old razor. the thoughts of a future together were joyous.

can you hear taps playing in the back ground...

Don't feel too bad we've all done that before. A couple months ago I was working on a Beau Brummel which I was using the dremmel on and was just about finished and it was looking like it just came from the factory and I just had to give it one last going over and while I was working on it my son walked into my elbow and now its one of those specialized razors designed to get under your nose real easily with out cutting it off.

I wouldn`t shedding a little tear ,I`d be shedding a bloody big one,sorry to hear about your misfortune
I haven`t done anything thing like that as yet, but that has been because of shear luck and not good management,as I have come awful close on more than one occasion.
