Brush Restore
Has anyone done a how-to thread on a brush restore? I see many many threads in my search but they seem to just be results. I have an Ever-Ready boar brush that was my great grandfather's brush and I'd like to get a new boar knot for it.
I guess it's very simple but I didn't want to give it a go without first asking if there might be something that explains or shows in pictures how to remove the current knot and possibly disassemble the handle (looks like two pieces). I really would never be able to replace it if somehow I royally messed things up.
any links to current threads or instructions would help tremendously! Thanks guys

At the risk of being accused of profanity, go to Badger and Blade, Brushes Forum, Restoration and Repair subforum, and one of the first threads is a step by step restoration thread. Good luck! It's not hard, just fussy. Try The Golden Nib for a new boar knot, or switch to a good badger. The finest extra stuffed are great.

Yep. +1. Again, at the risk of profanity.

sorry for the long delayed response but thank you! I'm definitely going to head over to B&B and read up
