I live in an apartment. So I don't have any sort of workshop here.
There's an anvil downstairs in the basement that I could try using though.

Is that 1/16th Hollow rod or Solid rod? I could not figure that out from Bill's CD either. I bought both so I would have it. I also got a 3/64 th Solid rod that would actually fit in the 1/16 th Hollow rod just in case and Fasteners from Microfasteners.com for the tang :shrug:
In Bill's cd when he says 1/16" brass TUBE he means ROD. Any 1/16" piece is hollow.
