Hello gents.once again I have a delima.i bought afilarmonica off ebay and when it arrived I see that the pictures were a little deciving. There is a lot more staning than I thought and the blade also happens to be cracked.the staining I know I can sand out but how about the crack?
A picture sure would help. But I don't think there's anything you can do about the crack unfortunately.
depends where the crack is and how big it is.

Also if the pics on the auction were deceiving, start a claim and talk to the seller for a return.
I have never heard of a crack being repaired. The only repair I have heard of for cracked blades is to eliminate the part of the blade that is cracked
I think I saw that one, is it cracked right in the middle of the blade?

Always remember no matter how good you think those pics of restores are that we do, by taking a chewed up old razor and making it look new again.. Not one of us has added metal to the razor, we can only take it away :rofl2:
You are owed a refund, start the process and contact the seller.

If you do end up with a razor with a crack in the edge, about the only thing you can deal with is one very nearly the tip. It could be eliminated by slight shortening, or rounding of the tip. Somewhere else, it is likely to get worse in use, and perhaps inflict a worse-than-ordinary shaving cut if you don't see it happening first.
