    Default Wedge material find.

Sorry but I don't have any pics yet but I may have found a good item to be used for wedges in restoring straights.

I've got a couple to re-scale and was wondering around Lowe's looking for some ideas for wedge material when I came across a lady cutting some custom slatted blinds (Levolor to be specific). Got to looking and the cutoffs, especially from the faux wood ones look to be perfect. May be just a tad bit thick but that's easily fixed. At the time she only had white but I'm going to check back when they've been cutting some brown ones as well.

Just wanted to pass on my find. They didn't charge me anything since they just throw them away.

Thanks for the info. Could save a person some work. Wedges are my least favorite thing to make. Going to have to visit our local Lowe's to see what they have.
