This has been discussed on SRP a number of times. Short answer is Barbercide/Clippercide. Kills everything.
Long answer, carbon steel does not like moisture, especially hot moisture, either water or steam. That makes the steel rust.
Temp is also a concern. Stay below 350 F. or you will change the temper of the blade in a way you may not like.
Chlorox...you have never seen rust develop so fast in your life. Been there, done that.
