Very nice piece. I've got a few blades just like that, sitting in a drawer, waiting...
Are the scales horn? If so, I'd think they are original. It's very hard to get those nice pins and washers off and back on without making a mess of them. Cleaned up very well.
That's a downright amazing job, Peter. And on one of the best examples of a lip lopper there is. You would miss that one if you let it go.
Grade A work there Peter and it couldn't happen to a nicer razor. Enjoy it!

SO, did we already cover here, how to re-etch the blade the original markings? Or, is this on the new B.Ellis CD too? (I JUST ordered it today...I figured I could answer half of the questions I posted if I just watched the damn thing already ;)) I'm like that kid in class you knew did not read the assignment because all his questions were answered right in the text :(
