Another Dremel question - What set-up's?

I have noticed that the Dremel can also be placed in a number of stand/set-ups to us it as not only a hand rotatry tool, but as a drill press, a router, and even rotated to a table saw type set-up.

Does anyone have these types of attachment sets for their dremel, and if so, are they usefull?

For the casual restorer the only key attachment is the flex shaft. I do my drilling with an actual cordless drill as I find it easier to control. I am assuming that people who wish to use it as a router/drill press/table saw get the actual tools instead.

Have you seen the dremel stylis?

I keep looking at it but never got it or used one. It uses a lithium-ion battery so I don't know how long it lasts. Perhaps it gets tired and needs a recharge about the same time you do:)

I haven't but I'd like to hear from people who did. Based on my current info, I'd use it only if I had several sets of batteries lol.

I think that holding it with that extra handle would be a little awkward for me. I'm use to holing it like a pen/pencil. Also, with the perpendicular handle I'd most likely bump it on the work area and screw up what I was working on (Don't want to bump the spinner when you are working near that cutting edge!). I'm also a bit reluctant to try that flexshaft that came with my dremel, but I have a feeling that once I do, I'll love it (no more bulky spinner to hold).
