I had a Hartford Cutlery Extra Hollow Ground 20 that had a little rust, pitting, and staining/patina as well as a chip in the blade. The handle is in pretty good condition so I worked around it and didn't touch it. I did all the sanding by hand. I started taking pictures after I had already started some of the work. I still need to either hone it or get it honed. What do you think?

Looks great! Do you have a buffer or did you hand sand? Please explain what you did! ;)
There was no buffer, just a lot of hand sanding starting at 320 grit w/d up to 2000 grit w/d.Quote:
