Barn Wood

I was wondering if any of you have ever worked with wood from an old barn?

I grew up on a farm, and was wondering if someone could stabilize a few pieces and make some scales for me?

The farm is now a housing development :mad: but a few of the barns are still there. So I could still "acquire" some wood.

Yea, i have always wondered what it would look like,ifmyou just epoxy'd the crap out of a chunk of that wood and made scales? I just never got around to doing it...
