Just got my sale paper and Harbor Freight has their vibratory tumblers on sale for $55!
If you get one immediately open the bottom and zip-tie back the wires (leave slack for the vibrations). I got one and it rubbed the wire right through (I'm not the only one).
Quick fix and it will be worth it.

Now I just need to find Glen's thread on what polish to put in the media.
Someone just forgot to tie the wires back. I opened mine and it already had a tie, but thanks for the warning.
Have used them for shell casings,cannot imagine using one For straights tho.
Mine was tied back as well, but the wire was still able to rub the side. I don't think that it affected every one, but worth checking in my opinion.Quote:

#1 I can't keep the wingnut on it. After a few minutes I find the wingnut, washer, and rubber washer on the ground. Even tape doesn't stop it from unscrewing.
#2 I put a blade in it and I checked on it after 8 hours (I know this isn't near as long as Glen recommended) and apparently the blade got wedged in there somehow because it looks like the vibrations were trying to make a barbers notch in the end.
I'm going to try it some more, but I think I'll experiment on a throwaway blade for a while.
