First test razor of the buffer
The package with the last compounds I've been waiting for finally arrived yesterday.
I've had this C.W. Dahlgren lying on the bench for who knows how long and figured it would suit well as a test razor for the buffer, unfortunatly, in the exitement of testing the buffer I forgot to take a before shot, so you just have to take my for it, but it wasn't in too bad shape, just a little rust and pitting.
I left a couple spots, it's a near wedge so I could possibly have taken it out, but I didn't want to risk ruining the blade if I didn't have to.
I have only been able to get my hands on 120 and 320 grit greaseless up here so far, but I still don't think the result is too bad.
I've taken it through 120 - 320 - grey/black - blue - pink - jewellers rouge - Autosol.
Please let me know what you think, and any suggestions of things I can do different or that can improve my results is very welcome.
