This is really interesting. A few years ago I purchased a bunch of Hess razors that are very, very rusted (celluloid rot I think). You just motivated me to go to my local horse supply store to buy some of that stuff. I will be putting in a bunch of those razors to soak. I hope it works because sanding off all that rust is a PITA. I have about 150 of those razors.

Just a quick hint about rust removal..
Before you start with any system regardless of Soaking, Sanding, or Wheels, if you take a SE razor like this

and scrape off all the rust that you can first, your next step with work all that much better.. :)
