    Default Micarta thickness question

    How thin can you go with Micarta when making scales?
    is .098" too thin and or too light?

    Personally I target .100 - .110 so yeah I would say yer fine.. Just so long as the razor balances out and feels good in the hand...

    Yeah, I was waiting all weekend for you to call me!!!

    Well, I found some sheets dirt cheap but minimum order is 25 dollars so I probably won't be getting them. Thought it would be fun to give it a shot.

    u can make micarta from any material and an epoxy mix that you want. check you tube. you can make some handles that pop with diff colors and use anything from construction paper to blue jeans
