Rust Mark
Hi, I am really annoyed I have a rust mark on my razor. I take good care of my razor cleaning and drying. I got it out today to see this horrible mark on both sides. I look at the box it came in and was moist inside. I have attached some pics, any advise to clean would be great.Attachment 113955Attachment 113956

Blue magic and some artificial steel wool will make that mark disappear also make sure the inside of tha scales are dry as well including the pivot point

I'd be interested to see what the easiest solution was :P

Lately, I've been using a clean miniature buffing pad on a dremel, with a little oil on the pad, to delicately clean things like this off blades and scales.

SlipperySam,
If you are in the UK (I note that the razor is from Mr Dempster) , some Autosol polish from Halfords, or some MAAS polish from Lakelands will do the job nicely :)
Have fun !

Gotta agree with PhatMan. I'd go for the least aggressive approach first, and see how that goes.
If you dont have any of those polishes at home you could try toothpaste.
It may not quite do the job but its not too bad, and might save you a few bucks.
If polishing doesn't get it than maybee some 0000 steel wool or 1200-1500 grit wet and dry sandpaper.
