Of course, they have god strop that come in package with hone.
I wouldn't even strop it, 3M lapping paper at .3 or .1 micron would give a good and consistent result.
But if they are used to have it stropped that's probably how they want it.
Not a problem for me but they will have to maintain it’s sharpness and I doubt that they will buy 3M just for this.
When everything is done I’ll try to take some pictures of samples under microscope, could be fun to see and test different honing and polishing methods.
hey, we are still waiting for pictures of the hone, and if you have tried any of your razors on it! :)
This is something that I do in spare time so it is going a bit slow, sorry :D
Here it is... you can see the damage from using - one side is completely concave and other one has two small holes from sharpening scalpels. Hopefully something can be done but I will not even touch that before blade it selfe is ready for honing.
