EAB in new scales
About two weeks ago, I got a good deal on two frame-back blades. Scott (aka Shooter74743) graciously game me a couple pieces of Ebony wood to use to create some scales. I started working on them a few days ago, and I just finished them up and pinned the razor earlier today. The scales are a lot shinier that they appear in the pictures. I still need to put a coat of wax on them, but they're otherwise finished. Let me know what you think.

Clean and simple...just like they should be. I have also used white rouge on a buffing wheel to really polish the ebony before waxing. Good looking blade too, I really like those ole framebacks! I don't think I have ever met one that wouldn't take a nice edge.

What shooter said on using the white,Than ren-wax,all the ebonys can be made to really glow.

I definitely need to get some Ren-Wax. That blade was a bear to hone. There were quite a few chips that needed to be removed, and that Swedish steel just laughed at my DMT.
