Quick question about cell rot

It took a while, but I've finally stumbled upon a razor that is showing some signs of possible cell rot. Nothing advanced at all, and all the corrosion on the blade was limited to the surface. However, it didn't dawn on me that it was cell rot at the time, and after cleaning up the blade I put it into my razor case that is hanging in my hallway. It was only in there for about a day before I realized what I'd done, and I promptly removed the razor and have de-pinned it and tossed the bad scales. Is there anything to worry about with the other razors that were in the case with it?

I'd guess you're probably okay. Just inspect the razors every day or two for the next week or so. If there is anything going on it should manifest itself. Whenever I suspect a razor of being afflicted I quarantine it. I had a Dovo (Fritz Bracht) set aside for months and finally decided it is okay.

Ok, good! One more question, is there any reason to keep the blade separated from the other razors once new scales are pinned on?

No - the corrosive outgassing that eats the metal originates in the scales - once the scales are gone and the blade is cleaned, you are OK.
