Looks like nearly all donations are in.
I’ll do a deep dive tonight but think aside from Tathra/Mick in Aus, most donations have been received early.
I raised the bar yet again as we blew passed 2K around 1am!
Well done all.
We are small in numbers, but big in heart!!
:chapeau
Mike, a big thank you to you for organizing the Movember auction.
Well done!
Indeed, great job everyone!
I have about 7 to mail out so I will hopefully get all boxed-up Sunday and off on Monday!

This one’s paid and closed Gabe. Thanks.
I never said that I thought it was a bad prize for the give away!
As stated in my origional post I am interested in seeing what this is.
I haven't participated in SOTD for a while but this looks like a fun possibillity.

Thanks Mike! :)
Yes! Thanks Mike for putting this together for the last few years. Its very good of you. And to Tom for keeping things active. Also to all who donated the fine goods.
Thanks Mike for leading this, everyone who donated auction items, and everyone that bid.
No worries, man! It was a neat looking razor. I know nothing about the shaving paste, you may have to report out to everyone.
Thanks for the clarity. That's what I would have assumed. But I'm old enough that I try to not assume anything! ;)
With Joel’s add we continued to tip the scales well gentlemen.

Very proud of that donation, and grateful for you gents, and your donations, bids, banter, and bravado this month. Not to mention your collective honesty in making good on your pledges as quickly as y’all did.
Made my roll easy, non stressful and overall fun as well.
Thanks , and take that, 2021 we had fun despite your bullshit!
Just so everyone knows all items that were won from my collection, they are in the mail
Santa comes early this year.
Thanks Tc!
Got everyone's stuff off finally!
My widdle rant....
So I spent a few hours yesterday and made some boxes, wrapped and addressed them....Went to the PO to get some customs forms. All kinds of forms out...NO customs forms!
Went BACK this morning, stood in line for 20 min. Got some customs forms.
Back to the shop...Filled out the forms.

Took the whole shitteree BACK to the PO. 25 mins in the line.
They tell me they don't have room to put the forms and stickers on the boxes.
"Why you no have the small forms for snail mail" sez I.
"OH we only have the big ones now. You gotta spend 3.95 apiece for envelopes to stick the boxes in" sez they!
BACk to the shop....Address envelopes I had and stuffed the boxes in. BACK to the PO....

Line was 15 this time...Things were going alright til an envelope to AU had it's turn.
"OH we can only send priority to this country sez they. I say 'WOT?"
"Yes....62.50!" I had "YGBFKM" almost out of my mouth.
Figured causing a scene in the PO with a pistol in my pocket was a no-go.
Paid-up.
I swear, might be best to just donate to Movember instead of the damn PO next year! :soapbox:
Rant over! :D
I have mine all boxed up and ready to hit the post office as well.
Might need to wait till tomorrow though as a nasty storm has rolled in..
Freezing and side blowing snow goodness abounds.
Wonder what the AU hits gonna be for me. Relatively small box, but bigger than you’d think as I didn’t want to coil the leather too tightly.
:tu
It ain't easy Tim! :cen
I have a stack of the those forms at the house now. It is a PITA. And I too have been told the box is too small for the label. Its like they just dont want the money or job. If there was a better way to ship Id be happy to learn it.
It’s why Amazon ships air. Standard box shapes are cheaper if you control the entire process stream.
Wasted space is negated by speed of delivery and packing unpacking of goods. But for us, size matters.
Hehe.
Bunch of women we are,,,,
:rofl2:
I once shipped an archery bow in an airline approved case. If I used just the case I could not insure it. But if I put it in a cardboard box I could.....
They still dinged the case but not the bow!:rofl2:
I guess the U.S. gov is still giving the Chinese the 'Developing country' status.
They can ship for free here and then our AU allies and ourselves are charged mightily.
Don't sit well...Mike's fee for shipping the strop will tell at least some of the tale.
BTW, did not intend to bash anyone other than our PO.
We had a nice Mo this time. In spite of it all!
I Pray you fellas will ultimately receive!
:)
I recieved the package today. Thanks Jerry for the well done packaging.
I had to check the mailbox as soon as I got home. At what temperature does Polish shaving creme freeze?:rofl2:
Was 7'f here.
A quick test tonight and I give everything great reviews.
A couple of weepers on the corners of my chin with the blade so that is sharp.
I think I need to use a little more water next time with the creme. That may be me cause I generally don't like the greasyness of cremes.
Tim
The shipping fees to AU can be ridiculous and inconsistent and a bloody PITA. I'm kinda used to the stupid charges we get slugged with:cen
