Outbidding a friend for a Movember fundraiser, PRICELESS!
I usually decide on what I will donate before Movember actually kicked off, pretty much the same like you do with a normal auction. I live the way we aggravate and prod one another!
This is the second flight of Strop Socks. There are three of them in his group. It will run until Sunday, Nov 21, at midnight Pacific Standard Time. Get them while you can.
I will open the bidding at $20. :)
25$ For these
25. Also don't care about the Wostenholm so I just want the sheffield
This auction’s also closed now.
Congratulations alex1921.
PM me for choice of black or natural and desired width and length of strop.
Will also need your shipping info.
Can make your donation directly to the Movember acct from my signature.
Thanks again to all the bidders who participated.
Cheers gents.

Up next is a fine blade, graciously donated by Bruno himself from his current works.
I quote the maker;
“ The razor we're talking about is a 6/8 french point, with toxic green kirinite scales.
Edge length is 2.5" And as I said, it's wootz but the pattern doesn't have proper contrast.
Despite that it is an excellent shaver.”

Bidding on this razor will run the rest of the month gents.

Good luck all, and thanks for the donation Bruno!

The green is a Bruno signature color.

I certainly don’t need more projects, but this is too much.

Is the bid amount for each or all three?
Attachment 337235
Three for one money!!
I'll go $225 on this beauty
For the back half of the month I am offering a second strip of Horween Horsehide up for Movember bidding.
As with the first, choice is black or natural hide and 2-3” width and lengths up to 24”
Perfect for either a board, hanging, or loom strop, depending on the ideas of the bidder.

Examples of the hide above.
Auction will end Nov 30th @ midnight EST.
Thanks all for another exciting month of items, offers, and good natured rivalry for the swag generously donated by fellow members, with big hearts, or big collections, or both,,
I think both..
Cheers.

24" $24.....
I see yer logic there,,,I meant 600 mm.
:w
Lol
By that logic 600 mm would be 600 cents....:hmmm:
I’m upping these to 50.
Like that they are all different shapes slightly.
Have a few in the to do box that would wear these well.
Here is one by our own Bruno, sweet Kami very comfortable handle and a nice oak base to rest it in. If more pics or info is needed just ask, auction ends on the 30th
Ok last one, I told you I would have some great stuff for the auctions. Bruno and myself came up with this a few years ago, nice looking and functional. Western grind for those who are not quite comfortable with the traditional Kami. More pics and info can be had for the asking, auction ends the 30th, all of these are for a great cause, I’m digging deep so y’all dig too, thanks for the support
They gotta be worth $60
Oooh, I could retire my learner leather and use the fittings on something that i haven't repaired over and over
24 x 3 tan - $30
I'm sure I could make that big ol' frameback look all shiney n pretty. $160
He's back, Folks! :D

.
..$30. :)

$40 or a Dubl Duck Satinedge? Wow, those used to sell for a lot of money. The only razor that sold for more was the Wonderedge.
Congrats Shaun it’s yours, I already have your address, just send it to mikes page, again thanks it’s a great cause
Almost like having one of Pixelfixed brushes, priceless, just can’t get them anymore
That’s why it was hard to put up, cause I’m a brush snob, but I had 3 Time to share, same as my Pixelfixed, I’ve shared with others, but I’m down to 3 so sorry I can’t offer one of them too
I have never used a Kamisori. I don't know what a Western grind is. And I'm sure this will escalate quickly out of my reach. So I'll start it out with $45. Good luck!
When I entered the November givaway I mentioned that "If" I won I would put the items up for the Movember auction.
I won! So here they are!
Jerry has kindly said he would hold them to see the results of this auction to save shipping the items twice.
Since I have never held these items I am shamelesly stealing the description and picture from the November giveaway.
I have heard many good things about Outback's work so I am interested in seeing it myself and have never tried the creme so I am very interested in that. Therefore I hope that no one is mad that I will openly bid on these myself.
Negus Straight Razor made by A.D. Piano & CO.
It’s 6/8+ in size and was repaired and honed by Outback. Both scales were cracked/broken and Mike put them back together. Lined them in brass and cleaned them up. There is some hone wear but for such a fine razor it was worth the effort in putting this one back together. The Tang and Spine are matt black as it was originally. This is a smooth shaving razor fixed up by one of our best Razor Masters.
Plus
A new tube of Korsarz Fresh Shave Cream. Direct from Poland.
The auction will end at midnight November 30th.
Thanks, Tim. And feel free to bid on your own item. You might win! I will add a few more pictures...
Attachment 337257Attachment 337258Attachment 337259
And I will start this one at 40 bucks for the first bid. I could save on shipping this way. :rofl2:
Thanks for the extra pictures. That looks like a nice grind and a narrow bevel.
I am going to have to go to $50 to at least start to cover your "shipping advantage"!
:D
