Thanked: 202Glue for Coticule
Can anyone tell me what glue is used for Coti to bond it wit either BB or schist? Just received hone and it fell apart.

Use an epoxy. JB Weld is a good choice since you can clean up the squeeze out (lapping or sanding it) after it's cured and it's waterproof.

I had a similar hone. I heated the halves up in the over (~200 F) and used a hot glue gun. If you don't heat the hones the glue will harden before it bonds.
That was about 6 months ago and all is fine.
As ChrisL stated, epoxy or JB Weld should work also but I don't have experience with them on Belgian hones.“If you always do what you always did, you will always get what you always got.” (A. Einstein)

That's a beauty!
I like JoeD's idea in the event one would ever want to separate the halves again (using a heat sensitive glue) as the epoxy route is essentially permanent.

Any excess hot glue that comes out the side I just trim off with a single edge razor blade.
