That is lovely Mac
thank you for show.
How beautiful! (as he wipes a tear from his eye)
I hear that 6x2x1 is even a better size .... hint -hint ....:rofl2:
Thanks guys!
It was brutal to cut and shape...since most had to be done by hand, but it was a labor of love, for sure. Two diagnal corners are curved, due to some damage that had to be lapped off. However, the curves seem to work pretty good, if your a hand honer...sits better, for some reason.
Jimmy, there is a second half to that stone ya know. "Wink, wink back" lol
Thanks again,
Mac
Thats such a beautiful contrast
and a good step in progression as well!
I'm getting serious hone envy here, LOL
Mac that is one very nicely done job! I sure wish I could find an oversized Escher someplace to salvage like that! :-) Nice brush and bowl as well!
I like.

Very Pretty combination! I really like the color combo on that one.....how does it look wet? :)
It looks even better wet...the red inclusions look bolder. I'd post some pics, but i loaned it out already.
Ive decided to make the same combo with the other charnley half...the dragons tongue stone has already been ordered.
Probably what impressed me the most, is the feel of the stone. I'm doing/experimenting with some interesting lapping methods, these days and the stones feel like skin/silk...quite nice, imo.
Thanks,
Mac
