Default Razor Shaped Knife or Razor?

Straight Razor Saddi 8 8" Damascus Handmade in Sardinia Italy | eBay

Interesting looking with what appears to be nice fit/finish from that one view. I don't read Italian so can't tell what the paperwork says... Just looks to me like a production item but the guy seems to describe it as custom. ??

As for the ".. email the OP.." thing... I'll just see what information I can get from this angle/post... The guy is obviously passionate either from computer-time frustration or from dealing with too many questions about his stuff. So, I think I'll not add to his concern. And, in case this is something cool enough to purchase I sure don't want to be spun into a Seinfeldian "NO RAZOR FOR YOU!" situation when my email pushes his underlying psychosis into full view (.. joking, of course!)!

Lots of questions like the Damascus, but the scales look well done and that is a very bright picture of a pretty decent bevel/edge... Just one of those things you start to click past then do a double take. ??

I found it by the title, here's another link: Straight Razor Saddi 8 8" Damascus Handmade in Sardinia Italy | eBay.

The vendor is a little unclear about the hardness of the blade, but I think this particular razor has been hardened to 56 HRC. I'm no expert on hardness, but I think that is a little too low.

Certainly interesting. Found a thread that discusses this maker.

From what little I can see from the auction pic's and the construction information given I would not go anywhere near any of the razors. YMMV.

I'm pretty sure that this maker has been posted here before and the answer from those with experience was save your money.

I must be screwing up my links by trying to link from inside my account... Definitely my bad.

But, I found he has a lot listed:

    saddi razor | eBay

(this link should work right as it was just out of a Search on eBay... !!!???)
