Thanked: 599You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

Thanked: 6I though your marketing was great, really a refreshing description not often found on eBay. I to thought it would go for much more, but I am buying only American made razors now, really a excellent example of a classic razor. When I list a razor on eBay I am ready to let it go for whatever it brings so if it sells low I have no regrets and I only hope that it found a good home.

Thanked: 480Simply put, People are crazy.
One week will see the same blade, in the same condition, sell of swings measuring in the hundreds. Its aggravating yes, but a face stuffing of chocolate and bacon makes even the worst sale feel less painful.

Make that actually chocolate-covered bacon served with vanilla ice cream. I'm thinking I should add some mead to the mix. I wonder where I could find some...
Don't get hung up on hanging hairs.

Yeah, that's pretty unfortunate, but it's a risk that you took when listing at low price and no reserve. When I listed nice razors on ebay in the past I almost always put a reserve price. On a few occasions I was simply out of the $10 or so it cost to put the reserve, but beats the alternative of selling a $500 razor for $200.
A reserve tends to put off some buyers, but I don't particularly care for lowballers who want to get significantly more razor their money can buy at my expense.
I've heard an argument for just starting from the reserve, but I don't like this as much because if the razor doesn't sell it is not a bad thing to know how much the market is willing to pay for it, instead of just finding out that the market simply doesn't want to pay your asking price.
