Default William Greaves and Sons Chinese Razor

    Name: Greaves.jpg

Size: 28.2 KB I recently won this Greaves on the Bay. There was one bidder. I don't know if anyone has had this experience but it is kind of an eerie experience being the only bidder on a razor. Further, there is no information on the Forum about the Greaves Chinese Razor.....so if anyone has any info, it would be appreciated. Regardless of what shakes out I really like this razor and am looking forward to putting it back in service.

I have one. It's by far my favorite razor. I picked it up on Ebay taking a chance, the pictures were very bad. It shaves like a dream. It came with bug eaten scales and just dirty from age. I sent it to gssixgun and pretty much asked him to "pretty it up". He didn't let me down. The blade etching was too light to save, but I told him I didn't care. I'm always looking for another one, I just love this razor!

I have the same razor but it has no maker on the blade and the scales have some Chinese or Japanese on them. I was told it was Japanese and if I remember correctly it said something about a flower or a girl can't remember I posted pictures on here of it sorry I don't know how to put a link to the post.
