    Default Hone wear?

Is this what extreme hone wear looks like?

It looks pretty good for it's age, and is made by a famous and collectible manufacturer. This would make a great addition to any collection.

I'd say lots of circular honing, most likely by a barber who used it up and then some.

    Default Didn't see it

    Rick,
When I click on this I see a red razor and no hone. Am I doing something wrong? Extreme wear on a hone makes the hone dish in the center. When that happens you can forget flattening it as you'll end up with nothing. I've seen old natural belgian combos with the coticule worn down to the blue in the center. At that point it goes into the study collection.

Hone wear means wear from the hone, not on it.
