Auctions like that are frustrating if you need specific scales
Blade is badly discoloured and spotted but solid
I think we might have different ideas about what solid means.
I wondered what that crazy hook was at the back of the blade. Somebody was over exuberant with the sharpener. The king of hone wear!
Hah! Not quite, but close. There is a razor that has popped up in this thread a few times. IIRC, the listing advertised it as "...The razor that fits your face!" Or something like that. The edge had a serpentine shape to it! It can probably be found within the last 50 pages or so of this thread...:rofl2:
There are, in actuality, razors that have an etching that reads "The Razor That Fits Your Face." This was nit one of those razors. Not even the same manufacturer.
What is funny is that some of these razors that need rescaling or only good for parts get posted for more than they would if they were in good condition. Like the W&B with the busted blade for over $200.
I may price higher since I expect people to MAO instead of BIN, but not that much!
NOS? Nice wood scales?

“I’m not sure that that word means what you think it means!”
At least the blade is good for once
