Used Wade Butcher THE Celebrated Hollow Ground Straight Razor | eBay
Looks like some guy finished grinding his lawn mover blade then figured he'd give that old razor a new edge.Last edited by Hart; 08-30-2014 at 09:32 PM.

Got this beautiful Wade and Butcher, Celebrated Hollow Ground Razor, nothing was specified for the size, was very dirty, scales were shot. It arrived and my jaw dropped, immaculate condition, aside from filthy, and virtually an 8/8, maybe just a little shy.
After some light cleaning, a tiny, thinner than a hair, maybe 1mm long hairline crack....no good to me....into the box it went, where it stays now. Very hard to see, marked it with some blue marker, the crack is below the blue.
Sad end for such a beauty.

That is a really cool straight razor desisgn. I wonder why none of the other makers made them like that? It would be a little hard to get the angle right you know with the lack of spine and all Originally Posted by Hart
