The people on eBay trying to imitate them are going to get nowhere, because they haven't bothered to educate themselves about what makes, in our case, a straight razor valuable as a collector item or junk. Don't get bent out of shape at their asking prices...the things won't sell, at least in sufficient quantities to make it worth their while. They'll keep amassing piles of junk in the hopes of flipping something, and every now and then they'll find a gem, which will keep them going. But overall, they'll lose money and drop out.
