The nicest thing about those models is that they get a better polish and glow as you use them.

since they are made of brass there should be no rust. some i've cleaned up had rust stains where the blade sits but they cleaned up as it was just rust stains from the blade.
nice deal too, if you look long enough you can still get good deals on these especially in antique stores and flea markets. seems people haven't caught on to the value yet IME.
When I first saw the pics, I thought -- oh,boy, I don't know, maybe that's one that should go out for a rhodium re-plate. But it was a pleasure to see your work turn out so well, they're great shavers. Congrats.
Yep, that's one fine job you did there. I have one and it's a great shaver holding it's own with just about any DE out there new or old.
When ever I see a DE or a Straight that someone has taken the time to fix and clean up, it warms the heart...They are great shavers and you should enjoy it for many years to come
