Thanked: 0Lone Ranger (John Hart)
Not sure if anyone is a Lone Ranger fan but they are auctioning off some of his estate an there are 3 straight razors in pretty damn good shape for 60+ shipping 65+ shipping an 80+ plus shipping. Just a heads up in case there are any die hard fans! I'm not sure how to pot the links on here but that should be easy enough to find.

Thanked: 1184I got 1 a long time ago for the cool factor. Only spent forty for it though. There is always one on the bay for sale. at least for the last 4 years that I been watching.
John Hart was only the Ranger for 1 year. He played in a lot of movies. Was best known as Buckeye, (think, coon skin cap, Davey Crockett type) :<0)Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

If those are bona fide John Hart razors he must have had RAD bad before he finally kicked the bucket ...... not saying they ain't, but there sure seems to be an endless supply of 'em.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 3795Many, many of them on the bay. Any scam to make a buck, I guess. I wonder how long it will be before they start hawking the Colonial/Chinese razors.

Thanked: 0Yeah I didnt know there was more than ONE LoneRanger was never really a fan a little before my time.
I mentioned it so if anyone was a huge fan they could take a look simply for the cool factor.
An he may have had RAD or they're a scam not sure they come with signatures an certificate of authenticity so I assume they're the real deal but you never know there's always someone out there trying to make a quick buck off of every sucker that comes along!

His widow seems to have a never ending supply, If the old lady can make a few bucks on the name the Lone Ranger good luck to her but I don't think there's a serious straight razor collector or user who will for one minute believe he owned most of the razors attributed to him. PS on a lighter note this one is from my Saturday morning matinee ABC cinema as a youngster back in the 60s.

No scam. John Hart was a long time collector of western memorabilia and had a very large collection of razors. He played The Lone Ranger one season during a labor dispute with Clayton Moore. Hart was a stunt man and mostly played small roles over the years. He only had two starring roles. He played Hawkeye and The Lone Ranger.
