    Default J. Wostenholm Ebro, Sheffield

They are giving away razors on Ebay right now.
I'm watching great razors go by with one bid...one bid....any who
I just scored this razor with some interesting spine work and possible bone scales.

It looks to be about 7/8s or so. Nice addition to the razor collection. It looks like it will clean up nice

Thoughts are free. Have at it.

    Thanks

    Appolllo

I have the same razor but with damaged scales and what I think is a regrind. Can you post a pick of the end profile so I can compare.

That one was on my watch list. I saw it went for a pretty low price. I don't get to wrapped up in getting them all. I have many and a really long line of them waiting for me to repair. There have been what looks like great values going by. There were a bunch at Christmas time too, which is why I have such a long line up. I think it goes in little cycles, but to be honest eBay selling prices have never made much sense because they can be so all over the place. I just bid low when I get a chance. Glad this one will be hanging around here so I can see the restored pictures.

I definitely will Hart. Now just have to wait for its arrival. I just won the bid last night.

Argh, it looks like I lost about 1/8" off the blade and most of the gentle smile.

It still has it's wedge shape though

I bought this early on before my eye became a little more discerning. None the less, it's a fine shaver, above average for sure.

There have definitley been some good values recently. I've been good at staying away from the Bay, but picked up a minty kamisori and a Japanese frameback for less than a tank of gas.

Hart the lines on yours seem to be a lot cleaner. The spine work is so crisp compared to the photos that i have but it might be the hone wear along the spine that makes it so.

ooops…just looked at the pics of mine and it has hone wear too

It's had a nice long hand polishing with some Mother's. Yours probably will come round just as easy.
