Many test fits with microfasteners, lightly applied at first, to be certain no pressure is put upon the scales. Brass pins would be appropriate as to the decorations. They would have to be annealed on the ends to super-soft. If the pin-holes were sized right, some rivet-body collars all the way through would be my preference. If the blade does not center, only gluing-down spacers and filing them here and there would do. Seems a pile of work if I did it.
