Bidding on E-bay without a Snipe is like hunting without sights :p
Live and learn my friend. My best eBay win was by a nickel. I still smile every time I use that razor...best 5 cents ever spent. :)
I use Auction Sniper: eBay Sniper and eBay Bidding snipe, bid sniping for eBay but only for higher value items.
No matter how you bid, the winner is always the person who bids most. The sniper programs work against people who make several small increases and can't get another in in time. The snipers can stop bidding wars

I don't do much on the bay, but it seems to me that if you put in your max bid the only way a sniping program would help is by allowing you to go above your max bid by the smallest amount possible and still 'win' the item. In which case, your max bid wasn't really your max.
Here's another: https://www.bidnapper.com/index.php3. Personally, I don't have the time to be obsessed with a specific item, and for the work would rather wait and buy from a member, rather than sight unseen, especially where the winning price seems low. Seems like someone else may be better informed about an item than I am.
No, if bidding increments are at $1 then you would win for $6 assuming their snipe didn't have time to respond in which case they would win for $7.
It still goes up in increments it is just that the snipe puts the bid on with the minimum amount of time to respond.
