Is this guy for real? It's just a razor! I'll post the link if the Moderators say it's ok to do so.

Idiot thinks nude art nouveau scales justify this ridiculous price. IF he gets ONE PERCENT of that price, he will be lucky.

That price is plain STUPID, maybe .5% of the asking price is realistic

I know the scale collectors pay pretty hefty prices for figured and painted scales but this is a little past that. I think the seller has a zero problem.

I'm not going to bother to inquire of the seller, but I bet it is a typo on his part. Could he be serious ? A guy listed a large cast iron skillet and lid for like $600.00. It is not an antique but something currently made. I went to amazon and found it for $36.00. Sent the guy a link. He reduced the ebay listing to $60.00. So could be as simple as that. Otherwise he is just trying to attract attention. IMHO.

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I don't mind people asking any number for their property because you still need to find a party willing to buy it... Thinking hard, I am not sure I would roll the dice asking 5 digits for any straight. I know of a few de in private circles that cracked that but not straights... Maybe if I had a pristine ottoman Egyptian butcher I'd try, but if I had one I wouldn't be selling it anyway..
