Default Nice starter set on ebay for $99?

Here is what appears to be a nice setup with a Dovo razor, Kent Badger brush, Dovo strop, mug, and soap for a "buy it now" price of $99, which is less than the retail price of the razor.

Seems like a nice deal, but beware that he seems to have applied strop paste to the hanging strop. Is the strop salvageable?

Some guys have had good luck with Goop hand cleaner ort Saddle Soap for this type of thing. You may not get all the paste out but you could surely lessen the effect pretty easily.

Yellow label Paste has no sharpening qualities and is used as a leather strop conditioner on DOVO strops

Good catch Damon. I didn't look at the auction and assumed it was the one left from a week or so ago where the guy had put red or green paste on a Dovo strop. This is a different one with a nicer razor.

I'm glad an SRP member bought it, but I thought the same thing as you.
