better yet matching scales... the gotta side is 3 pin and the back is a 2 pin scale... must have been hard times when it was rescaled... i wonder what the wedge is ... a broken off blade?
Be just and fear not.

Thanked: 1587Good catch Jim - missed that. I guess people aren't bidding on the scales...

that's freaking awesome...
I am suprised that someone selling this on eBay actually did take it apart then. Many people would not want to take on the challenge and also not know where to go from the beginning. For me i don't know if I would take mine off ever. I have my two razors I would like to restore soon but I am scared to do this alone and not get things done correctly.

Thanked: 1587Oh, sorry Pilot. I had a train of thought going and forgot that other people can't see into my head (lucky for them, actually)
I meant that if the brands are different and someone just slapped on a Gotta scale, it probably wasn't the seller - otherwise they wouldn't have called it a Puma Gotta or whatever .
From the seller's email, I'd guess they are selling their dad's or grandad's razors. I've seen a few Gotta-scaled blades floating around from that part of Australia.
