Me either.....those are the two Bill Ellis did a month or so ago. He posted a thread about them - thats the exact picture.

looks like the buyer doesn't want them anymore, but seems to not know the market either. i'd say they just wasted their ebay listing fee, but who knows. perhaps somebody will pay the asking price.

I just did a search for the thread....I'm pretty sure it was in january, so it must've been lost in the crash. I'm sure those are Bill's though, I saved that picture in a folder that I keep custom razor pics in. They are good looking razors, but still just rescaled Wapi's.....but then I have no idea what kind of wood Bill used either.

oh, the picture very much looks like his pictures, and the description matches.
on a second thought perhaps it's not very bad deal at all. i'm pretty sure i've seen honed wapis being sold for $50, so this is about $30 for the rescale per razor. And Bill is certainly a master on rescaling.
Plus his shave-ready scale is often used on certain B/S/T sales

Hmmm....you've got a point. I suppose $75 each for professionally rescaled Wapi's isn't that extreme, is it?

I guess their worth what ever someone is willing to pay and this is no reflection on anyones work but I would not pay that. Lotta nice vintage around that price.
