I thought I got a great deal on a Wostenholm IXL 6/8+ , meat chopper wedge w/barber notch , and the original coffin shaped , black box . The razor , and box looked to be in pretty good condition , and I got it for $15.50 which I thought was a hell of a good deal . The razor arrived today , and when I took it out of the box I was greeted with the unmistakable , noxious smell of the celluloid scales gassing :( . I immediately removed the scales , and threw them in the trash . The blade is in fairly good condition , with most of the original mirror finish with some minor honing scratches , but does have some very minor pitting on the blade , and the top of the spine . Looks like I have another restoration to do :D . I still think I got a good deal , I think the blade and box are worth more than the $15.50 I paid (at least to me , they are):) .
