Fellas, I just won this auction for a "Vintage Belgian Kone." Privately, the seller wrote that the dark-color side is "Deep purple" and the dimensions are 6 7/8 by 2 5/16 by 15/16 thick. Do you think I won a big, vintage coticule? If not, what did I win?

Mind you, I know almost nothing about hones. But if its a natural stone, and mined in Belgium, is it not most likely that its of the same material as a coticule? And if thats the case then, semantics aside, it must be a coticule. At least I've only heard of the natural hone stones from Belgium as being the ones from Ardenne quarries.
Anyhoo, you sure its not an H and not a K on the word "kone"? would make a bit more sense probably just the font which looks like a K instead of an H.
Kone means wife in Danish btw.

Who'd have thought of searching for a 'kone'. Well found Steve! Had it been listed as hone it would have prob made a $100 more?

Thanks, gents. I figured it was likely a slate-backed yellow coticule, but if has a blue side, too, I'm really happy with this find!
