I have a kenrup wapi. I love it. I just got a D8C and D8EE yesterday and I had picked up a 12k stone. I'd like to practice honing. Do you think these would be good for practicing on to see if I could make them shave ready?

They only really show one razor and it has some chips and either tarnish or pitting (hard to tell) but if you can get them for a song they should give you plenty of experience in razor restoration.

Like they say, value is in the eye of the buyer. The blades look rough, but if I were bidding (I'm not) I'd go up to $50 - around $7 each - and hope I could get 3-4 really good restorations out of the bunch. As already stated they'd give good experience in restoring and honing. You should ask for pics of all the blades before deciding anything, though. Logically you'd think the one blade pic posted would be of the best one, so....

If I was the seller, I'd put up a picture of the worst one and just say all the others were better. Why not ask the seller? If they're all like that, I agree with $50 bucks and say go for it.
