The uniform lines and the thickness suggest to me that they are celluloid or some other synthetic, but not Ivory and definitely not bone.

nah no ivory or bone but you could always try and go for a DD with lots of hone wear from the same seller, but he, the scales are clean.

it got here today. surprised no one caught the broken scales. there's also a chip in the blade. returning for full refund.
