So I've been reading and posting here for about a year now and learned A LOT from this site. That said, I recently found out that I have not learned enough to restore old beat up razors....so I bought this lot of 10 off craigslist and they just sat around....so it's time to let them go to somebody who will know what to do with them.

10 Cool Vintage Straight Razors Sheffield, Solingen Etc - eBay (item 140385933687 end time Mar-02-10 19:00:08 PST)

Ya'll will probably get a chuckle out of some of the obvious stuff in this listing like "not shave ready", but I figured I should put it in there for potential newbies who don't know any better....better safe than sorry right?

Anyhow, I just want to stress that most of these need a lot of work and a few may not be able to be restored due to excess spine wear and uneven blade surface (ie. the edge of the blade would have to be ground down so much just to get a flat surface, that you'd end up with a very small blade, maybe 3/8-4/8)...there are a few nice candidates that should be relatively easy to restore, the Otto Deutsch Hans is pretty rad! The Clauss should clean up nice and probably the Koeller Schmitz and Wade Butcher too....the "unexcelled" razor and "the mab" are pretty rough, i dunno if they'd be worth restoring.

They are being sold AS IS so please ask any questions BEFORE bidding. I have a .zip file with some more closeup pics that I will happily send if you are interested....the pics are kinda blurry so if you really want I can try to get better ones (but no guarantees, I'm low on time and $$$)
