What's the deal with these Damascus blades??

I don't believe he's selling them as knives.

If it looks like a straight razor , I suppose he can call it a straight razor . Besides , nobody shaves with straight razors anymore .:D

He has some he lists as straight razor knifes (i.e., not for shaving), like this:

And others that are listed as straight razors, i.e., for shaving. Part of the confusion might come from confusing the two. At the very least, they have very different scales.

Hey, I actually purchased the razor and let me tell you, it is very poorly made. I've been honing this razor for about 40 min per day, for 2 days on the 1k. The edge is really hard to achieve, besides there are other many flaws with it. If I knew all about the razor before purchasing I WOULDNT !!

umm, that's the wrong one Gregory
you bought a straight razor KNIFE
it is NOT intended to be a razor
he has others that specify it's a Straight razor :( sorry dude
but don't feel bad, i did exactly the same thing and when i rang him he just so happened to ask me , what am i going to do with it
and that's when he said no they are NOT SR.
i think Dylan is going to get a SR from Jeff
but like i said, since it's taking so long, i've got a feeling that Dylan is going to get a special razor from Jeff, one that Jeff is going over it with a fine tooth comb, if you know what i mean.

He is a fool if he doesn't go over it to the best of his ability. The guy could have a gold mine if he can deliver the goods. If he has the skill to make a really good custom it won't be long before he is raking in the dough. We'll see when and if Dylan gets one that is good.
